ASMin' like a BOS (Bushwick Open Studios)

curated by Spread Art and ThingNY

So we got this email offering us a chance to play outside. Must be in the afternoon. Must be acoustic. In three weeks.

We like acoustic. And we like outside. And we like the afternoon.

Also, we can do this sh*t in our sleep. Because AWESOMENESS.

thingNY and Spread Art (Detroit) are curating this outdoor event, and we're gonna drop in and throw down. Just a quick little show-you-how-it's-done to get you all fired up for the spectacle that is June.

There will be food trucks and porta potties organized by Pine Box Rock Shop (on the same block), Spread Art will be there with their truck with a piano soundboard mounted on an A-frame that can detach and be pushed around the block, Shua Group will be creating a river of plastic bottles, another artist group will be there with their bus, and there will be a dance performance.

And that's not even including performances by thingNY and ASM, which will also happen.

And if you think that is all, let me school you on something else: it's free. Yes, FREE.

So. If you like outside, afternoon, acousticosity, and freeness, you have no possible excuse to not check out this total awesomeness.

Which is basically to say - your tax dollars at work. Yeah, frightening isn't it?
